Reviews on hold for now…

I haven’t been neglecting this blog…but had to put in on hold for a bit….

At last check-up, the doc didn’t like my Liver Enzyme levels. So I was told no beer until it gets back to normal. She suspects it was all of the OTC medicines I was talking day and night when I had a cold/cough for numerous weeks… I had a liver ultrasound, which was clear… so now just waiting for my liver to repair itself, levels to get back to normal….so I can get back to trying some new brews!

Be patient… I expect to be back at it by early August!

Kalik – Beer of the Bahamas

ABV: 5.0% ABV

Thoughts: Actually not too bad.. Better than I expected.

Thumbs: Up… But probably will not be buying again.

Molson XXX

ABV: 7.3% ABV

Thoughts: Some strong stuff… I like it.

Saranac Black & Tan

ABV: 5.1% ABV

Thoughts: Too heavy for me… I got rid of it… This is a definitely a stout… If you like stouts, give this a go..

Snake Dog IPA

ABV: 7.1% ABV

Thoughts: Higher ABV than an average ale. Didn’t really taste it though, as the beer has some hoppy bite to it.

Thumbs: Up. I’d drink it again.

Thoughts: A great ale… especially love the favor and the fact it is unfiltered.
